Michael has a Masters’ Degree in Business Administration and is a Professional Engineer, Certified Management Consultant, a member of the Canadian Evaluation Society and is certified in Prosci Change Management Processes. Before embarking upon his management consulting career, Michael was proud to serve his country as an Aerospace Engineering Officer in the Canadian Forces. He has a secret level security clearance.
Michael is Managing Partner at TDV and is one of the company’s founding partners, with substantial senior project management experience in strategic management consulting within the international and national government sector. Michael’s strength has been in leading multi-disciplinary teams in solving complex problems facing government clients.
During his 25-year career, Michael he has gained extensive experience in program evaluation, project management, performance measurement, business and strategic planning, and institutional development. He is an experienced facilitator, and has designed and led many workshops, large meetings and consultation sessions. As a project manager, Michael has work with a cadre of committed consultants serving the needs of national and multi-national agricultural health, food safety and other regulatory organizations.
Judith is a Partner at TDV and has been with the company since 2001. Judith brings international and private sector experience to the firm. Judith’s primary area of focus is human systems, the dynamics that are the key to the success or failure of almost all organizational undertakings.
Judith’s passion is the complex dynamics of human systems and how this is the single most important factor in the success or failure of almost all undertakings. Judith is a tool and methodology “junkie” and uses her extensive tool kit to purpose design and facilitate processes to help her clients succeed. Notable successes have been research and information sharing processes agreements among representatives of national governments, multi-year support to major institutional change projects and one day issues resolution and planning support to small not-for-profits. As part of her commitment to human systems Judith is also a certified coach and qualified in the use of a range of personal, management and leadership development tools.
Judith has a Masters’ in Human Systems Intervention. Her tool kit includes: the Prosci Change Management methodology, the Search Conference (a consultative methodology for strategic planning and change), Human Synergistics suite of individual, group and Organizational Culture assessment instruments, Basic and Relationship Systems, Emotional Intelligence, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Large Scale Whole System Change, DTA, and Scotwork Negotiation Skills.
Brian McKay is a Partner at TDV Global and one of the company's longest serving senior consultants. He has significant senior project management experience on both international and domestic projects with national governments, regional and multilateral organisations. Brian excels at integrating technical teams of experts with effective capacity building approaches and methods to address the needs of clients.
Over his 30 year career, Brian has worked in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors and has lived in Africa and Latin America. He has gained extensive experience in international project and program management, program monitoring and evaluation, performance measurement, business and strategic planning and organizational development. Brian has led large teams on major transformation projects such as the establishment of the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA), as well as led teams of experts on multi-country agricultural health, animal health and food safety technical assistance projects.
Brian has an Honours B.A. with Specialist Certificate in International Development Studies from the University of Toronto. Brian certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) in 2003, is certified in the Prosci Change Management Process, and is a Credentialed Evaluator (CE) with the Canadian Evaluation Society (CES). He is currently pursuing a M.A in International Affairs at the Norman Patterson School of International Affairs (NPSIA) at Carleton University. Brian has a secret level security clearance.
James Dunlop is a Principal at TDV Global and has worked with the company since 2002. He has substantial project management experience with a specialization in the public health and animal health sectors. James is skilled at addressing complex issues and problems that require close collaboration among multiple jurisdictions and stakeholders.
James has been active both domestically and internationally, with a particular focus on global scientific networks involved in laboratory research and disease surveillance. He has delivered strategic planning, facilitation, evaluation and review, performance measurement and secretariat services in support of these and many other types of government and not-for-profit organizations. James maintains an active interest in the policy and operational challenges associated with antimicrobial resistance, emerging and zoonotic pathogens and invasive alien species.
James has a Masters’ Degree in Public Administration from Queen’s University with a supporting undergraduate background comprised of a B.Sc in Biochemistry and an Honours B.A. in Political Studies from the same institution. James has a Secret level security clearance and speaks English, French and German.
Mylan is a senior consultant and has worked with TDV Global since 2014. She is a dedicated evaluator and researcher who has experienced in both the public and private sectors. She holds a Graduate Diploma in Program Evaluation and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and has worked extensively in data analysis, methodology assessment, survey development, conducting systematic reviews and knowledge exchange.
Mylan has extended experiences in capacity building, evaluating to improve outcomes, evidence-informed decision-making, developing evaluation support tools, creating a monitoring system to be implemented with development aid programs, and training staff in monitoring and evaluation. Mylan speaks English, French and Vietnamese.
Louise joined TDV Global Inc. in March, 2003 and as office manager, she is responsible for the smooth, day-to-day running of the firm. She is the friendly voice our clients have grown accustomed to hearing when they call our office, and she takes great pleasure in providing attentive customer service.
Louise is a highly skilled administrative specialist with over 20 years of experience running business operations and managing the administration of large, complex national and international projects. Louise also provides dedicated secretariat and administrative support to multi-stakeholder working groups and TDV client organizations.
